Fair Prince, Princess Crowned

Twelve contestants participated in the second annual Prince and Princess contest.  Children ages 5-8 that registered, had the chance to compete by selling 50/50 raffle tickets.  The money from the raffle supports scholarships for the fair King and Queen, as well as their court.  This year, a total of $15,070 was collected.  The winner, which will be drawn on Tuesday evening of the fair, will win $5000!  Congratulations to our Prince, Fletcher Eibling, and Princess Brooklyn McCullough.  All of the contestants will be recognized at the ceremony and will receive prizes.

The general public can purchase tickets in the fair office from August 16-23 during regular business hours of 9 am to 5 pm with exact change. Tickets are $5 each and the winner will win $5000. The winner does not need to be present at the drawing on September 3rd. The winner must claim their prize by 4 pm on Sunday, September 8.  All money collected is used for scholarships for the fair royalty participants and junior royalty participants.
