Maddox Underwood, a dedicated and passionate member of the Upper Scioto Valley community, brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to his candidacy for Hardin County Fair King. With seven years in 4-H and three years in FFA, Maddox has actively participated in various Junior Fair projects, including Market Swine and Market Beef. His commitment extends beyond his projects, as he has also contributed to setting up the fair and working in both the pork and beef producers’ buildings.
Maddox’s leadership roles and accolades are numerous. He has been a State BPA Qualifier three times, a member of the Local Honor Society, and the National Technical Honor Society. His athletic achievements include First Team All-Conference honors in baseball, football, and basketball, with district recognition in all three sports. In FFA, Maddox has been honored as the Chapter Star Farmer and Beef Production Winner, and he has received his State FFA Degree.
Active in his community, Maddox has participated in Relay for Life, Veterans Day events, and youth basketball programs. Looking ahead, he plans to pursue a degree in Engineering or Physical Training. Her outstanding achievements include receiving the Outstanding of the Day and state awards for her creative and agricultural endeavors.

Aidra Preston, a dedicated member of FFA and an active participant in the Hardin County Fair, is vying for the title of 2024 Hardin County Fair Queen. With three years of involvement in FFA, Aidra has taken on leadership roles, including serving as President of her FFA chapter for two terms. She has excelled in various projects, such as market chickens and string art, and has earned prestigious awards, including her Greenhand, Chapter, and State Degrees.

Emma Arver, an active member of 4-H and FFA, is a dedicated candidate for the 2024 Hardin County Fair Queen. With eight years in 4-H and three years in FFA, Emma has consistently demonstrated her commitment to agriculture and community service. Her main fair project, dairy beef feeders, has been a staple since she was old enough to participate, and she has served as the Dairy Beef Feeder Queen for the past two years.

Patrick Stacklin, a dedicated member of FFA for four years, is an enthusiastic candidate for the 2024 Hardin County Fair King. Patrick has been deeply involved with the Hardin County Fair, showcasing his skills and dedication through various projects, including rabbits, beef heifers, woodworking, and hydroponics. He has participated in showmanship competitions and the beef skillathon, demonstrating his commitment to excellence.
Patrick’s contributions to the fair go beyond his projects. He has been an active participant in the Junior Fair Board, assisting with livestock shows, barn maintenance, and fairground clean-up. Beyond her individual projects, Annemarie contributes significantly to the Hardin County Fair as a member of the Junior Fair Board. She also participates in bench stacking with her FFA chapter, demonstrating her commitment to fair operations and community service.
At Hardin Northern, Annemarie is a multi-sport athlete, participating in volleyball, cross country, basketball, basketball cheer, track, and softball. She holds leadership positions as the president of the Blanchard Pleasant Buckeyes 4-H group and the reporter for the Hardin Northern FFA chapter.
