The Hardin County Ag Society set the next meeting for May 7, 2025 with the following agenda.

- Meeting – Sunday, May 18th from 6-8pm in the Community Building.

- Next work session scheduled for Wednesday, May 21st at 7pm.

- The new 28 spots for fair campers will be called when sites are done.
- Entertainment Committee
- Diamond Rio with opener Confederate Railroad will be the 2025 Hardin County Fair Concert – Saturday, Sept. 6th at 7pm.
- Ticket Booth worker and Pit Worker contracts have been sent, all but one has been returned signed.
- High School Band Contracts have been sent – most have been returned.
- Livestock Committees
- There was a Poultry Clinic in the Show Arena on Saturday, April 19th
- The Vet contract has been given to Diamond M
- Dairy Beef Feeder Weigh in and tagging is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th from 8-10:30am
- Sheep Weigh In is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th from 8am-9:30am, then after them is Goat Weigh in from 10am-11am.
- Rides, Concessions & Vendors
- Concession & Vendor Contracts are now available to be submitted online, with many already being done.
- Total changeover from vendors being in the Youth Ag. Center to the Machinery building has begun.
- Advertising/Sponsorship Committee
- Online Sponsorships continue.

Old Business:
- Fair Book needs approved..
- Still need judges for Dairy, Beef, Dairy Beef Feeders, Swine, Wed. Horse Show, Antiques and flowers
- All Box Seats have been paid.
- Judge contracts have been sent with show schedules attached.
- Generator in the Community Bldg.
New Business:
- Approve RestRoom contract, radio contract and gate worker contracts for the fair.
- A pastor for the fair opening ceremony has been secured.
- Contracts for nightly grounds sweeping, Fire coverage, Mounted Posse, Portable toilets, and trash removal contracts have been sent with many already returned.
Our June Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4th at 7pm in the Community Bldg Remember to meet with the JR Fair Board at 6pm in the Community Bldg with your committees.
