The Hardin County Ag Society set the next meeting for June 4, 2025 with the following agenda.

- Meeting – Wednesday, June 25th from 5-6pm in the Community Building and 6-7pm with SR. Fair Committees

- Next work session scheduled for Wednesday, June 18th at 7pm.
- Grounds Committee
- Received $1000 from the Hardin Community Foundation to help purchase chairs for the Community Building. 60 universal white folding chairs were purchased with that help.
- Received a grant from the EPA to help purchase water bottle refilling stations. 5 stations were purchased and Randy has been installing those.
- Received a grant from Public Entities Pool for $990.
- Camping Committee
- Waiting on new campers to pay. The waiting list was almost gone through for new spots, since a few people wanted off of the list. Work is being done on building the new sites.
- Entertainment Committee
- Diamond Rio with opener Confederate Railroad will be the 2025 Hardin County Fair Concert – Saturday, Sept. 6th at 7pm. Pricing is $25 for general admission and $35 for the party pit section. All tickets are to be purchased on line.
- Working on contract with Art Me Party for the Children’s tent during the fair.
- All High School Band Contracts have been returned signed.
- Reserving hotel rooms for entertainment this month.
- Livestock Committees
- Still need Beef & Dairy Contracts for judges. All other contracts have been sent to judges with their schedules.
- The Vet contract has been signed with some additions made.
- Copies of individual sections of species from the fair book are available for pick up in the secretary office. Otherwise read your sections on line.
- Sheep Weigh In is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th from 8am-9:30am, then after them is Goat Weigh in from 10am-11am.
- Rides, Concessions & Vendors
- Concession & Vendor Contracts are now available to be submitted online, with many already being done.
- Total changeover from vendors being in the Youth Ag. Center to the Machinery building continues. The Youth Ag. Center is now finished.
- Advertising/Sponsorship Committee
- Online Sponsorships continue.

Old Business:
- Generator in the Community Bldg.
New Business:
- June and July Rentals
- Award sponsor money is being returned. They were due May 31st.
- JR Fair entries can now be made through the fair’s website until July 31st.
- Digital Sign problems – it can not be updated at this time.
- Our July Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25th at 7pm in the Community Bldg Remember to meet with the JR Fair Board at 6pm in the Community Bldg with your committees.
