The Hardin County Ag Society set the next meeting for July 10, 2024 with the following agenda.

      • Meeting needs scheduled to review the Strategic Plan.

      • Water leak in front of grandstand on black top
      • Work days scheduled for the summer: July 13th, July 27th, and August 17th (work day with JR Fair Board)
      • Fire Suppression Systems and Fire Extinguishers will be checked at the beginning of August.

      • Ohio Good Sam Club is currently camping at the Fairgrounds.

      • Cheerleading judges need their contracts.

      • Rabbit Tattooing is scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd from 9-11am.
      • Judges are still needed for Dairy, Dairy Beef, Beef and Wed. Horse Judge.

      • Fair Book hard copies for open class are now available at the Secretary’s office. Jr Fair sections, along with the whole fair book can be viewed online.

Old Business

  • JR Fair entries need to be made by July 31st
  • Open Class entries can be made August 1st – August 23rd.

New Business

  • Rentals for July and August
  • Prince and Princess Contest has started and 50/50 tickets can be purchased from one of those kids until Friday, August 2nd.
  • Emergency Management Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 14th at 6pm in the Grange Restaurant. It’s mandatory for all directors to attend. After the meeting the Arts/Crafts Bldg. will be set up for the fair.
  • Friday night concert at the OFMA Convention attendees.
  • Discussion about having alcohol during the concert at the Hardin County Fair

Our next monthly Board Meeting is Wednesday, August 7th at 7pm in the Community Bldg.
