Acting President Jake McFadden, brought the Hardin County Agricultural Society Reorganizational Meeting to order, with twenty three paid members present.
There were no letters of resignation from directors to read.
Jake McFadden read the election results for directors. There were 30 members who cast votes for 8 positions. Abe Decker and Austin Eibling will hold Director at Large positions until 2028. Kirk Cameron will hold a Director at Large position until 2027. Meghan Yoakum, Curt Vanderpool, Christa Rarey, Tyler Overly and Corey Ledley all retained their director positions. There are 2 Townships with vacancies, those being Lynn and Taylor Creek townships. Any society member interested in one of those vacant positions can submit a letter of interest as soon as possible to the Secretary. The Ag Society Board will fill those positions at the November 5th Board Meeting. Newly elected Directors that were present, were sworn into office by Judi Cronly, Notarizer.
Corey Ledley and Austin Eibling moved to nominate Jake McFadden as President of the society. Charlie McCullough and Christa Rarey moved to close the nominations. The motion passed unanimously. Charlie McCullough and Dan Beale moved to nominate Jack McBride as the Society’s Vice President. Corey Ledley and Austin Eibling moved to close to the nominations. The motion passed unanimously. Judi Cronley remains Secretary/Treasurer of the Society.
Charlie McCullough and Justin Beale moved to keep the regular board meeting dates as the first Wednesday of each month at 7pm, with one board meeting date adjusted. The July Board meeting will meet one week later – July 8th, due to the July 4th Holiday. The motion passed unanimously.
Next year’s reorganizational meeting will follow the Agricultural Society’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday, November 4th, 2026.
Charlie McCullough and Dan Beale moved to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
