The Hardin County Ag Society set the next meeting for January 7, 2026 with the following agenda.

  1. Call to Order
  2. Guests (3–5-minute speaking time allotted)
  3. Correspondence – Christmas Card from Weaver’s
  4. Swear in Kirk Cameron, director for this year
  5. Minutes of last meeting
  6. Financial Reports (approve 2025 Annual Report)
  7. Bills to Approve
  8. Committee Reports:
    • Fair Board Report
    • Development Committee
      • Minutes from 12/11/25
      • Next work session is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21st, 2026.
    • Executive Committee
    • Strategic Planning
      • Meeting needs scheduled to update the strategic plan
    • Grounds Committee
      • Grant idea for Community Foundation Grant
    • Camping Committee
      • Emails went out today to current campers about paying for this year’s fair camping.
    • Entertainment Committee
      • Contracts need to be signed for DJ, Art Me, Laser Tag, Concert, Studimo, and Tractor Pull
    • Livestock Committees
      • Livestock Committee chairman were reminded to have a meeting with their committees to discuss their fair book edits soon and minutes need to be turned in for the full board to approve changes. (Dairy Beef Feeders, & Dairy)
      • Final Edits for the fair book were due at the end of last month.

  • If you still have not turned in your fair book edits, do so ASAP!

New Business: 

  • January & February Rentals 
  • Annual Consignment Sale is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026 9am. Items can be dropped off to consign on either Thursday, March 12 or Friday, March 13th from 8am-6:30pm. 
  • Our February Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4th at 7pm in the Fair Office.
