  - The next work session is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 7pm in the Fair Office. Construction continues for the 1st Livestock Building and New Event Center has started.

  - Forming new committees this month and a new Executive Committee will be elected at the Dec. Board Meeting

  - Caretaker roof leak
  - Everything has been stripped out of the Beef RR
  - Electric was stripped out of the remaining Machinery Bldg.

  - Vehicles can now start to be stored in the Youth/Ag. Building. $30 a month, minimum of $100. The last storage date is July 31, 2027.

  - Annual Sale Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 7pm.
  - Livestock Exhibitor Sale Checks can be picked up in the Fair Secretary Office Saturday, Oct. 10th from 9-12 and then during Secretary Office Hours until Friday, Nov. 20th. They can also be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 4th until 6pm. And they need to be cashed by the end of November.

Old Business:

Petitions for the November Fair Board Director Election are due by Wednesday, Oct. 28th at 4pm. Up for election this year are: 2 directors at large for a 3 year term, Lynn Twp. for a 2 year term and Taylor Creek, Marion, McDonald, Cessna, and Blanchard Twp’s. for a 3 year term. Petitions can be picked up any time during Office Hours. Reminder, if you are a new candidate running for a position, you needed to have attended this Board Meeting to be considered a candidate.
$2 membership tickets can be purchased after a season ticket is purchased until Wednesday, Oct. 14th.
JR Fair and Open Class premium money can still be picked up in cash from the Fair Secretary Office on Wednesday and Friday’s 9-4pm until Friday, Nov. 20th. Other possible dates to pick up the money is Saturday, Oct. 10th from 9-12 noon and Wednesday, Nov. 4th 9-6pm.
Still need to know what directors want to go to the convention and stay all night.

Other Fair Reports
The Annual Election for Directors is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4th from 9am-6pm in the Fair Office. We need one director to sit in the office for the election. Staff will be the other judges and clerks.
The Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources has requested to have a cooler trailer hooked up outside the Arts/Crafts Building for the 6 days of their inspection dates. It requires a 20 amp. outlet.

Inventory sheets need to be updated and turned back in at the next board meeting.
Dist. 2 Director Meeting – Auglaize County Fairgrounds – TH., Oct. 15th
Any changes to the Fair Constitution needs to be advertised by Oct. 21st (2 weeks prior to the Annual Meeting) w/25 member signatures.
Our Nov. Board Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4th after the Annual and Reorganizational Meetings at 6:30pm in the Community Building.
