    • Executive Committee
      • Melinda Ledley and Kathy Hord were hired as fair office assistants.
    • Strategic Planning

      • Fair Workday is scheduled for this Saturday, August 5th – starting at 8:30am in the Arts/Crafts Building painting.
      • Fire Extinguishers and hoods being inspected this month.
    • Camping Committee
      • Fair camping renters can pick up their hang tags and wristbands in the Fair Office starting Monday, August 7th.
    • Entertainment Committee
      • Contracts needed for Shifferly Road Band and DJ for some dance parties.
      • Contracts for pit workers and grandstand workers are all set.
    • Livestock Committees
      • Rabbit tattooing is scheduled for this Saturday, August 5th, 9-11am
      • Livestock optional rules
    • Rides and Concessions
      • Vendor/Concession Applications are available online.
      • Invoices were sent for those not paid, awaiting payment for some.

      • Sound for the grounds – update
      • The audit for 2021 and 2022 continues.
      • The Emergency Management meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 16th at 6pm in the Grange Restaurant.  The Arts/Crafts building will be set up after this meeting for the fair.  Jake Burgbacher has agreed to schedule the EMS for the fair.
      • Open Class entries can now be made online or in the fair office.  Deadline for those entries is Friday, August 25th.
      • Needing assistance with your online Open Class entry, stop by the Fair Office starting Monday, August 7th – when the Fair Office will start to be open from Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm. 
      • Season tickets, day passes, and grandstand tickets can be purchased online and must be done online, even if you need assistance from the Fair Office.
      • Regular Fair workday for the fair with the JR Fair Board is scheduled for Saturday, August 19th, starting at 8:30am.
    • New Business:
      • Golf carts needed for anyone else – last chance to request!

Our next monthly Board Meeting is Wednesday, August 30th at 7pm in the Community Building.  This is one week earlier due to the fair.
