Fair announces reverse raffle, tickets on sale

The Hardin County Fair is announcing a reverse raffle fundraiser event. The event will be held February 10, 2024 in the fairgrounds Community Building.

Proceeds from the event will be put toward the development fund in order to construct new buildings on the fairgrounds. Door prizes are also being sought from local businesses. Those interested can contact the Fair Office.

The raffle will feature a total sum of $12,000 in prize winnings with a grand prize of $7,500. Those wanting to enter the raffle must buy a ticket for $100 which includes a meal. Additional meal tickets can be added to a reverse raffle ticket and are priced at $30. Tickets can be purchased from the Fair Office, the Quest Data and Lending Center, or from committee members Christa Rarey, Shannon Allmon, Jolene Buchenroth or Rob Wilson. All participants must be 18 years or older.
